The entree and main courses were good but the desserts were awful.
We a family of 7 ate at the oriental in tonight 21st july 2018. 5 of us adults orderd the banquet. Minimum of 4 to order this meal at 30$ a head. First the prawn cocktail was blaned the prawns had been difrosted out of the freezer in water and had sat in it for way to long. Some of the prawns had freezer burn. And there was atleast a good 2 table spoons of water in the bottom of the cocktail bowl. All the other food was okayish but dont buy food and expect to leave full. with 5 of us we got 2 peices of satay beef. 2 piecies of lemon chicken. 2 pieces of plum chciken. (Very small pieces) 1 spring roll each and 1 small kebab. I personally would not recommend this establishment for a good dining experience.. and the price of the meal is outrages considering the very small portion size. 7 of us will not be going back
Delicious food. Try the fried rice and crispy chicken. Amazing.
Every time you go to any Chinese shop anywhere they give you a complimentary bag of free prawn crackers. Not this place. They make you spend $150 before they give you a free bag cause they are too tight and miserable. Ive been there 4 times and ordered $80-$100 of food and still the woman at the front desk was too stinking miserable to offer a free bag of crackers and it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. The place was dingy and dark, unwelcoming and out dated and the place also smelt weird. The kitchen is visible and you can hear the racket going on in there when you dine in. I wont be going back again
The food was pretty good. Got a shared banquet over 4 people and we were all pretty satisfied $30 each so a cheap meal pp Only downside was the place smelt a bit weird. Could have done with a good airing out. Also close the kitchen door.
